Crofton Beam Engine is a Grade I listed pumping station on the Kennett Canal, one of the most significant industrial heritage sites in the United Kingdom.
In May 2018 we completed the works to replace bricks and fully repoint of the building. The contracted was awarded to SK Conservation by RJ Smith & Co.
We employed SK Conservation in the summer of 2018 to work with us on Crofton Beam Engine, a Grade I listed pumping station on the Kennett Canal. They repointed the whole of one elevation of the building, they completed the works to a high standard, on time and within budget and to everyone’s satisfaction, including the Architect, Donald Insall Associates, and the Conservation Officer.
We would certainly use Shaun and his team again
