Our main workshop is located in Frome, Somerset, and we carry out work across the South West region including Bath, Bristol, Warminster, Salisbury and throughout Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.
Check out our Projects page to view work carried out on churches, heritage sites and residential and commercial listed buildings. As well as repairs to stone walls, stone steps and cleaning of stone using specialist equipment. Our stonemasons are qualified and experienced in stone carving, lime pointing, cleaning, mortar repairs and repointing.
On all conservation projects we are happy to work with architects and conservation officers and local councils and have relationships with local stone quarries and suppliers, using materials sympathetic to the original fabric of the building.
Thank you to the whole SK Conservation team for completing the project on time (despite the current restrictions), within budget and as per the agreed scope of works. Mark, Site Supervisor, was always helpful and regularly updated me on progress and talked me through various options when required. The site setup was exemplary with all necessary signage, fencing and always tidy. The regular park users are very pleased with the project and enjoyed watching a skilled team sympathetically restore the Kentish Ragstone wall that is one of the few vestiges of the old Oakwood Hospital Cemetery site
